The Company:
Global branded FMCG business with enviable product portfolio. They are currently looking to hire an experienced retail FMCG expert.
The Role:
- Dealing with Head office large Pharmacy retail accounts as well as small to medium sized customers. Dealing with Senior level Customer Buyers on a day to day basis for the channel. Relationship management
- The NAM Pharmacy & Distributors will be responsible for developing my clients business in the Irish Pharmacy channel. They will define the strategy for the channel in the short, medium and long term through the creation of a strategic business plan and Joint Business plans. These plans will incorporate existing brands and business, newly acquired brands and acquisitions planned for 2012
- Developing both a strategic and annual plan on new Business development within the channel, clarifying targets and ensuring prioritisation of resources to realise those targets
- Working on and developing Joint Business Plans with key customers
- Promotional planning, Gap analysis
- Delivery of turnover, customer profitability, and managing budgets for allocated categories

Key and Experience Required:
- The individual will be passionate, energetic and enthusiastic about delivering results.
- Good interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills are essential.
- They will be a motivated self starter to achieve team and individual goals.
- They will posses really solid business / commercial acumen.
- There are multiple options and choices within scope. It will be key to prioritise and focus on the opportunities that provide the biggest impact and return.
- They will have a demonstrable track record of delivery in Customer Development including good negotiation skills and experience with managing categories and customers.
- They will have significant experience in the Pharmacy channel in Ireland, demonstrating a deep understanding of the channel (5-10yrs).
- Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience of dealing with Distributors but not essential.
- The role requires someone who is a strategic thinker who can develop, build and implement a strategy plan for the short - term,mid – term and long - term.
SALARY: NEG depending on experience, Bonus, VHI, Pension, Car Allowance etc
